Profile
My areas of expertise include diagnostic and therapeutic
gastroscopy and colonoscopy, treatment of colonic polyps, colon
cancer surveillance and management of genetic cancer syndromes,
acid reflux, and gastric conditions.
In addition to practising as an endoscopist, I am a consultant
gastroenterologist in private and with Auckland City Hospital. My
role as a medical advisor with the NZ Familial Gastrointestinal
Cancer Service involves management of complex cancer syndromes.
I am also a senior lecturer in Medicine at the University of
Auckland and am highly involved in the teaching of undergraduate
medical students.
