Profile
Philip has been working as a colorectal and general surgeon in
Auckland since 1995. He trained in Auckland before spending a
number of years in the the UK and Australia. Later he undertook an
advanced 2 year Colorectal Fellowship in Melbourne and
Auckland.
Philip consults from St. Marks Rd, Remuera, undertakes surgery
at Mercy hospital, and does endoscopy at both Mercy sites- Epsom
and Takapuna.
The majority of his practice revolves around colorectal work
which includes:
- Laparoscopic Colon and Rectal Cancer
- Anal conditions such as haemorrhoids, fissures and
fistulas
- Pelvic floor problems causing difficulty in defaecation or
faecal incontinence
- Diverticular disease
General surgical conditions include:
- Inguinal and Umbilical Herniae
- Pilonidal Surgery
